About the Founder

Alexander Cook is a Montreal-based drummer, teacher, and producer with roots in Prince Edward Island. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance and an MA in Musicology from Dalhousie University, and brings 15+ years of experience across jazz, rock, hip-hop, and funk music.

For Alex, "All in Good Time" isn't just a tagline - it's a drummer's philosophy: patience in practice, trust in the process, and a feel-first approach that values pocket over flash. That same ethos shapes Cowbell & Groove: minimal, considered design made to move with real musicians and rhythm lovers, celebrating the subtle confidence that comes from living life on the beat.
